I had a thought the other day.. were we all born, created or evolved into being problem solvers?
Scientists are the most obvious - they have the scientific process: come up with a hypothesis, a problem, a question and then try and find an answer.
But you can look at other people in society too.
Athletes. How can I get better? How do I get around the next guy to get to the goal?
Doctors. Diagnosing patients.
Business People. How do I make more money? How do I get consumers to buy this product?
Students. What topics can I cover in my essay to get my point across? How do I solve this math problem?
Boys. How do I get a certain girl to like me?
Girls. How do I get a certain boy to like?
Children. What is this? Why does mommy do that? How can I get a cookie?
A Single-Mother. How can I manage my time and money right to make it through the next two weeks?
These are all examples I thought about. It made the idea of all of us having problem solving ingrained into us really stick with me.
I problem solve everyday. How do I get all my tasks done by the end of the day? How do I write this story to make sense to all viewers, readers and listeners? What questions do I ask to get the response I am looking for out of an interview?
What do you think about my thoughts on all of us being ingrained problem solvers? Agree or disagree.
P.S. I still haven't gotten my car. Crossing my fingers I actually get it this weekend. Still so very pumped.
